Teachers at San Juan del Rio Catholic School will go out of their way to engage their students and inspire them to enquire and learn. Fully accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference, San Juan del Rio provides a challenging curriculum for its students. All faculty members are state certified teachers who are committed to excellence in Catholic education. We provide a quality Catholic education in a safe and caring environment, allowing each student to excel both spiritually and academically.
CHILD FIRST TEAM
Meeting the Needs of All Our Learners
Our Child First Team is lead by the Director of Academics, Mrs. Katie Sites, and designed to develop the mind, body, and spirit of all our learners. We work directly with directly with teachers and families to develop support plans for students with diagnosed exceptionalities. The team is also committed to meeting the needs of all our learners by providing in class support and professional development for our teachers in differentiated instruction.
CURRICULUM
A High Academic Standard
The curriculum guides set forth by the Diocese of St. Augustine are the basis for our school program. Textbooks and programs are chosen which will meet the students’ needs as set forth by the Diocesan Curriculum guides. These guides are updated and revised in accordance with sound educational and developmental research.
